Susie Crafton founded Apeira Solutions in 2015, a consulting firm specializing in technical assistance, strategy, and capacity building for nonprofits with a special focus on fundraising, governance, and sustainability. With over 20 years dedicated to transformative outcomes and systems change, particularly for underserved communities, Susie has shaped policies and improved educational systems at multiple levels. Her strategic interventions have not only created high-quality educational opportunities but have also driven significant federal funding to nonprofits, totaling over $455 million. Susie’s educational background includes a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, along with a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from the American College of Financial Services. The CAP designation is earned after completing graduate-level coursework on how to best support clients’ philanthropic goals and demonstrates the knowledge and tools to help clients articulate and advance their highest aspirations for self, family, and society.
